A Pediatric Check is a scheduled examination of your child to prevent diseases and to check that your child is developing according to his/her age. These examinations start instantly after your child is born and continue in various intervals until early adulthood. A Pediatric Check comprises a consultation with a pediatrician who will conduct a precise anamnesis and ask questions about your child’s development. The doctor will then perform a thorough physical examination, including tests and examinations that are required according to official guidelines. Afterwards there will be a final consultation and explanation of the findings, and you will have the opportunity to ask questions. Usually the results of the examinations are recorded in a booklet that also contains a schedule for future examinations. If needed, vaccinations can also be carried out during a Pediatric Check.
