  1. To ensure your child is healthy and develops well it is crucial to conduct regular check-ups
  2. Many diseases that are detected early in the childhood can be treated properly so that permanent damages can be prevented
  3. Official guidelines guarantee that examinations will be conducted at the right time so you don`t miss anything

What are Pediatric Checks?

A Pediatric Check is a scheduled examination of your child to prevent diseases and to check that your child is developing according to his/her age. These examinations start instantly after your child is born and continue in various intervals until early adulthood. A Pediatric Check comprises a consultation with a pediatrician who will conduct a precise anamnesis and ask questions about your child’s development. The doctor will then perform a thorough physical examination, including tests and examinations that are required according to official guidelines. Afterwards there will be a final consultation and explanation of the findings, and you will have the opportunity to ask questions. Usually the results of the examinations are recorded in a booklet that also contains a schedule for  future examinations. If needed, vaccinations can also be carried out during a Pediatric Check.
